CNE CLINICAL TRIALS

Our team performs a range of clinical trials in acute care. Many of these are in collaboration with the New England Strategies to Innovate EmeRgENcy Care Clinical Trials Network (SIREN) Group. The SIREN Clinical Trials Team is a nationwide, collaborative effort that conducts high-quality, multi-site clinical trials to improve the outcomes for patients with a range of emergency conditions. In collaboration with partners across New England, we both lead and participate in large scale definitive phase III trials for conditions such as traumatic brain injury, cardiac arrest, and others.

THE NEW ENGLAND SIREN GROUP

  • ICECAP – A nationwide trial of cooling duration after cardiac arrest.
Recently completed SIREN trials have included:
  • ESETT – a randomized trial of different treatments for status epilepticus.
