What is more important to you than your brain? Diseases of, and injuries to, the brain and nervous system are some of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide. Rapid diagnosis and early treatment are often critical. Our Center aims to study existing therapies, generate new ones, improve the delivery of acute neurological care, and educate front line providers in best practices.
Centered in the Emergency Department – a crossroads of medicine, providing expert care to anyone, with any condition, at any time – we work across specialties, hospitals, and countries. Our team coordinates with specialists in emergency medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, radiology, health policy, biostatistics, epidemiology, and many others. Collaboration is our strength.
